The mass media serve as a system for communicating messages and symbols to the general populace. It is their function to amuse, entertain, and inform, and to inculcate individuals with the values, beliefs, and codes of behavior that will integrate them into the institutional structures of the larger society. In a world of concentrated wealth and major conflicts of class interest, to fulfill this role requires systematic propaganda.

Important issues have been ignored and apparently suppressed by people in the news media who should know better. In most cases the issues have been directly and unambiguously presented to them, and they have betrayed their audiences by ignoring important events, effectively censoring them from the news.
In that light, this website is dedicated to the Los Angeles Times, whose owner and editors utterly failed ethically as journalists when they decided to squelch Dr. Freeman's strong statistical evidence that the presidential election was stolen. Maybe they really think we'll all join in their chorus of silence and deny the evidence too, but this website was created to prove them as wrong about that as they are wrong to remain silent over the theft of the American Presidency. Shame on you willfully complicit shills for the Bush propaganda machine, not only at the L.A. Times, but every so-called journalist in this country who has known about this important news and chosen to sit on it so far (3.15.05). You have all betrayed your readers and your profession by playing possum about the theft of the election. HOW LONG IS IT GOING TO TAKE FOR YOU TO WAKE UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING?
